Hello. I am back from a very very long holiday. procrastinating along the way.

I have been doing experimenting on my new artworks recently. one above is my new artworks. since i am in love with ink drawings and so i applied my love in ink detailing into my painting.

What i have known myself, i do not like to stick onto one mediums, i love to use various kinds of brands. but i admit that i love watercolor cotman tubes. incredible! ^^* I am making series of animals. now i make 4 of them, including this.

You can see more of this kind of version in my portfolio. You will see the first four new ones.

This is the first time i spend my time in Korea. Now it is Fall in Korea. And today is very very cold for me as in my home country the weather is hot all year round. So this is what i wore today in my room.
I wore two socks. I wore long socks inside and outside i wear thick socks. I put scarf around my neck with my favorite jacket. The scarf and the Little Rosena shirt were bought in Philippines.

Why the outer socks have holes? Actually, the first time i bought it, it didnt have any holes at all. Just after a long time i wear it i just realised one of the socks had holes. so to make it even, i cut a big hole too for the other socks. haha. my roommates thinks im crazy. hahaha.

oh well... that is me. my style.

This was my first illustration I did. and the most of my favourite digital artwork i love.

I draw her in my drawing book. I scanned and then i colored it in Photoshop. That day, I was happy with the results of my first illustration!

Let me ask you.

Me? Yes i do. I want to fly as high i want! I want to see the world!!

Launch the HOW ARE YOU TODAY project

Last night, before i went to sleep. i was thinking what to do next since i am having another 11 days of holidays. When i was browsing my pictures, and flickr groups. i found an IDEA!!

That is to create new flickr group. i call it HOW ARE YOU TODAY group.
It is to draw and take picture of yourself then upload it to the flickr group i created or you can send an email to me so i can upload it to the blog i've just created.

I will make a book out of this if i have enough people to participate in the project.

Here how to participate:

1. Draw half of your picture (from your nose to your chin) on a piece of paper/lunch paper bag/cardboard.

2. Done drawing? now you hold the picture. (you can see example i put up in this flickr group)

3. Take a picture! *SNAP!*

4. Send it via email.

5. Upload it here at How Are You Today flickr groups.

So people! ready?!!! draw and take pics!! ^^*

i do have my own personal blog. but i don't know why i create a new blog at blogger.com. maybe i find i am bored with my blog or maybe because i find it messy. it is everywhere, here and there. i've been blogging arts for nearly 4 years now. I don't stop doodling. i don't stop creating new art. i will never stop.

i paint using different mediums: charcoal, oil pastel, acrylics, watercolor gouache, color pencils and micron pens. i even work as a part time art instructor when i was in Brunei. i took art lessons at where i worked before to improve my painting skill. i love doing children book illustrations. i enjoy it. but sometimes i do get frustrated with all my artworks. i sometimes think do i lack of skills? am i not good enough?

Here will be a new beginning. Yes, a new beginning at the age of 26. I know you will think, its a bit too late for me to get involved in art industry but who cares, i try. and i never regret.
